Hello! I have had an adventuresome and restful spring break. I had a great time on my cruise and in the ports. I'm still catching up on school work and other real-life things that I had left at home. More importantly; though, my interview with the Landscape Architecture department of Louisiana State University went just fantastic. I was one of the first juniors in high school to show an inkling of interest for the program. Landscape architecture doesn't require or even state any need of a portfolio. But since I had the work, I went ahead and showed the department my portfolio. The head said I would definitely be able to make it in to the program if my academics keep up to par with LSU's standards. That made me one happy guy. I'm extremely excited now. As of July 1st I will definitely be applying to LSU and to a few other colleges of my choice.
I hope everyone has a great week! Thanks for all of recent the favorites and watches due to my new sketches. I really appreciate all of the support!

Raven Symone and Glee's Matthew Morrison were among these folks! (Many selfies were taken. Check my instagram- caseycreates)

Life at 18
Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since my last updates. I'm just busy as always. I moved rooms in preparation for moving out this Fall and have been winding down on certain projects at school. So art's been kind of low on the priority list these days. As well as that, I've given my "Art & Identity" lecture/workshop at another LGBTQ+ convention and have been working tirelessly on presentations for my interviews later this week in Los Angeles as a scholar finalist for The Point Foundation! This opportunity would allow me to have a 4 year scholarship, mentor, and travel/speaking/activism opportunities for my work with the LGBTQ+ communit
Late March Updates
Hi all, it's been a while! First off, I opened a shop on etsy with a couple pieces. I'll be updating throughout the year: https://www.etsy.com/shop/artofcaseyhoke?ref=hdr_shop_menu.
Other than that, I'm waiting on a few scholarships and programs and working on a ton of graphic design projects for different organizations and projects I work with. (Hence, less art this month) But I should be starting on a few things this week. It's getting warmer outside too, so I'm more apt to sketch outside.
Have a good week, everyone!

College??!! and Snow Day Laziness
Hi everyone, so uhh... I'm pleased to announce that I'm enrolled in college! I'll be studying for a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture at California Polytechnic Institute of Pomona's College of Environmental Design! The news came much earlier than expected and I've been ecstatic ever since. So, I guess I'll be packing my bags in September. I can't believe I'm going so far away for college, but it's for the best as I'll be close to Disneyland for internship opportunities and networking! Plus, the area is just beautiful and vibrant on its own. And the weather? I can't stand anything under 40, so I'm thrilled with my decision. For
